We love Paula! She came and visited us in the hospital when our newborn son was recovering from open-heart surgery. She touched him with such tenderness and with such an intuitive sense of what he needed and what he could handle at that moment. After we were able to bring him home, Paula came to our house for 4 sessions to teach us how to give our son the same gifts of touch and awareness. Since we were limited in how we could pick him up, and since he was having difficulty both nursing and digesting, it made us so grateful to be able to give him massages and have this other form of touch to soothe him in his pain. I will always be grateful to Paula for giving us this way to communicate with our newborn as he recovered and grew stronger.
